AERT's latest innovation, MoistureShield® FR has been approved by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and is listed as an approved decking product in the Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) Products Handbook. MoistureShield FR is the first UL tested green decking product, which provides a smart and environmentally conscious alternative to PVC.
Only A.E.R.T. pre-heats and mixes wood fiber and polyethylene to the point of encapsulation prior to initiating the extrusion process. This extra step ensures total encapsulation of the wood fiber, enabling the product to withstand the harshest environmental conditions. In addition, we have created the perfect mix of high density and low-density polyethylene to gain maximum strength while maintaining ease of assembly. Moistureshield is a completely recycled product.
